We’re doing a fun topic this week. Last year we did an awards show for all of Marvel. So from the very beginning all the way through What If Season 2 at that point. This year that plan is a little bit more focused, because, well, we’ve done them all. So it’s for 2024 and going forward, we plan on doing award shows at the start of each year. Let’s see what the categories are.

Marvel Highlights from 2024 – 10MinMarvel S3E97

We’re hitting year end, that means we spend a little bit of time looking back, and we’ll be spending time looking forward in the upcoming weeks. So let’s talk about some of our highlights from 2024. Marvel gave us four shows and movies total, so fewer things, but what were some great highlight moments to be had?

And of course we have our normal news and rumors on 10 Minute Marvel. So stick around for them as a secret role for Secret Wars has been teased. A Spider-Verse logo is being built in Chelsea NY, the Young Avengers could be the Champions instead. Maybe a Deadpool Holiday Special Presentation, but when would it be, and another actress/singer rumored for Dazzler?

10 Minute Marvel S3E49: Multi-season Disney+ Shows

This weeks #10MinMarvel is going back to some news that came out during or just before the start of Loki. Marvel and Disney were looking at changing up how Disney+ shows were done. Marvel did not have a traditional method for doing television shows, and now, they want to move towards more of a standard way. This is to create a more sustainable path to successful shows and visions on those shows. Now between weeks while waiting for new shows, we tackle the topic, what are some we’d want to have multiple seasons?

Plus #10MinMarvel has news as well. In the news we have Deadpool 3 teases. Plus what is coming to Disney+ in 2024 and early impressions of Echo. Is Echo lookin like a positive show? And there is more to the news as well this week.

10 Minute Marvel S3E47: Kang vs Doctor Doom?

One of the talking points coming out of a Vanity Fair article on Marvel was if Marvel was going to pivot from Kang to Doctor Doom. It seems like a quote with little more detail than that, at this point in time. But it is one that we want to cover on 10 Minute Marvel. How could Marvel transition from Kang to Doctor Doom for the Secret Wars storyline? And what would that look like or would it be a waste of Doctor Doom to make that move?

This tied in nicely with a lot of the Fantastic Four news and rumors that have been coming out. Firstly, rumors for the casting of the Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom are out there, at least for Marvel’s top choices. Plus there is a rumor that the Fantastic Four is set to begin filming in January. So if that’s the case, casting news hopefully will be coming really soon. Plus more Echo teasers and Spider-Man bringing his friends from Sony’s movies in Spider-Man 4?

But all of that is in a good way as we have another really strong episode of Loki. And it leaves us with some questions around what’s going to happen next and why Loki is the only one who seems to remember. But we’ll dive into all of that on the episode.

Plus there is a bunch of news. Vulture back for Spider-Man 4? Miles Morales getting a live action film? And, I think the big news, the announcement of Marvel Spotlight and the first trailer for Echo is out. And Echo looks a whole lot more like the Netflix shows with a a TV-MA rating. The question is a simple one. We’ve had a number of Disney+ shows to this point that are a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And not all of these Marvel Disney+ shows are created equally, and not all of them need another season. But there are talks, and we cover in the news, that some of those shows look to be getting new seasons. So which of the shows do we feel like could use another season, or ones that we want most?

With Kang, that has to be a question, so we look into it. What movies and shows make sense to be in their own universe, at least partly?
