As we get into Phase 4 and Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one question that is asked is, what shows and movies are in the main MCU? This stems from one of the co-hosts of The Breakroom, Jay Washington, asking the question, are all the Marvel movies now in the same timeline? With Kang, that has to be a question, so we look into it. What movies and shows make sense to be in their own universe, at least partly?

10 Minute Marvel S2E32: Spider-Man 3 Trailer

It’s finally happened, the rumored, for months, Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has come out and there was a lot going on in it. I take a dive into that to talk about how Doctor Strange was acting weird, what this might mean for Doctor Strange 2 and more. Plus there are some scoops for characters showing up in Doctor Strange to and who the villain might be. Finally, we have What If where it tackles Fury’s Big Week. So a packed episode of 10 Minute Marvel.

Next week I’ll probably be back ranking my MCU projects, both television shows and movies. However, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings comes out on Friday and I’ll be watching it then. There is a chance that I will have to push it back another week on that list. Don’t worry, though, it’ll return.

There’s some news as we get a potential actor from the Fox X-Men movies coming into the MCU, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier news, and finally some Spiderverse related news from Sony. For the main topic, I look at the Fantastic Four, the first family of Marvel and talk about some of the powers they could use in the MCU.

News is still light with Covid-19 shutting down production sets, production companies, and movie releases, so I talk about some rumors that I’ve heard for Black Widow. Plus, the main topic, I talk about the characters from the following Marvel movie, The Eternals. It’s been an interesting few weeks and I expect the news to continue that way, slowly trickling out maybe a few more rumors or casting details, but probably mainly more delays.

X-Men: Apocalypse: One Last Trailer

I’m very excited for this. Every trailer has been getting better and better. I’m really digging James McAvoy in the role of Xavier. The movie looks very nice big and epic, while maintaining a plot. And that last little reveal is very awesome!

The planned Christmas 2017 release date for Avatar 2 is now off the table for Twentieth Century Fox, according to the Wrap. This isn’t really a surprise, since James Cameron and Avatar have always had a long gestation period. Always.

That might mean that I actually see the first one prior to the second one coming out. I think it’s still a 50/50 chance, but eventually it’ll probably happen.

Tim Curry Returning to Rocky Horror

Let’s do the Time Warp again!

Tim Curry is ready to do the time warp with Fox’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The actor who originated Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic movie will instead take on the role of the criminologist narrator in Fox’s two-hour musical, the network announced Friday at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour.

Gambit Coming to the Big Screen

We’ve been hearing rumors of a Gambit movie coming for a little bit. With minimal references to him thus far in the X-Men universe, my hope level has never been that high, which is a shame, because I really love Gambit. But now we are getting a Gambit movie, being directed by Doug Liman who recently directed Edge of Tomorrow, or as it should be and now is known as Live, Die, Repeat. Gambit is going to be played by Channing Tatum, which I think should end up being a good casting.

Channing Tatum’s Gambit will begin filming in Hollywood South this March, according to WGNO.

The X-Men solo film was supposed to begin filming in November 2015, but those plans were put on hold when director Rupert Wyatt unexpectedly exited the project in September. After a couple months, 20th Century Fox hired Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Edge of Tomorrow) to helm the project.

Gambit was initially scheduled to open October 7, 2016, but will probably be pushed back to 2017.
