Marvel gave us a lot of great origins and characters in the MCU. But as we come up on Secret Wars, it’s a chance to redo some things, bring back characters or even just start anew. On this weeks 10 Minute Marvel podcast, we’re going through a number of characters who maybe would be well served with coming back or a new take on them, and how we would want to see Marvel do that. As we come to the end of 2024, let’s look ahead to all the things that Marvel has coming in 2025. In particular, let’s start out by looking at the 3 (bonus fourth) animated thing we have coming up from Marvel. What is interesting to us about What If Season 3 (coming out December 22), Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Eyes of Wakanda, and Marvel Zombies?

We more Marvel rumors around Avengers vs X-Men potential director. And who in the MCU should Chris Pine and Robert Pattinson play? All that, plus scheduled reshoots for Thunderbolts* and Brave New World, remember, these were always planned.

10 Minute Marvel S3E35: What Disney+ Shows Need Another Season?

The question is a simple one. We’ve had a number of Disney+ shows to this point that are a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And not all of these Marvel Disney+ shows are created equally, and not all of them need another season. But there are talks, and we cover in the news, that some of those shows look to be getting new seasons. So which of the shows do we feel like could use another season, or ones that we want most?

Plus there is a lot of news. What If now seems to have a release time frame. And we know the titles of the What If Season 2 episodes. Plus Echo, Fantastic Four, and a whole lot more to cover in our Marvel news.

10 Minute Marvel S2E97: Ranking Marvel Phase 4 Shows

There is actually a little bit of Marvel news this week Some of the news is a Sony announcement that has both of us more interested than other Sony movies. Plus a board game announcement which you know is going to have me interested.

And then this weeks #10MinMarvel is all about the TV shows. There were eight, not counting specials in Phase 4. How do we rank all of them, which ones stood out to us, and which ones were maybe missing a little bit of what we hoped we’d see from them.

And just a quick reminder, no episode next week. We record our episodes on Sunday night and next Sunday is Christmas Day, so we want to leave that time open for spending with family.
