Yesterday, at the age of 69, David Bowie passed away after an 18 month battle with cancer. Known for his music and films in the nerd community, he has done many different amazing nerdy things. His music has been used in movies and played for decades, including Supernatural, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Simpsons. He has also acted in nerdy movies as well. Among his acting credits he played Nikola Tesla in The Prestige, and Labyrinth as Jareth the Goblin King.  He’ll be missed.
