The Page

Now, I’m not going to go into what I think or CMON or how some people react to a CMON Kickstarter, if you have thoughts on that, you can have your thoughts. What I’m talking about here is the layout of the page, the information and the content of the page.

With that said, I don’t know that I love this page with how it’s laid out. Now, this is a dungeon crawl, so it’s all about the minis and CMON does a ton of great work with minis. But the game play is very much lacking. Now, this is something that CMON doesn’t normally do a great job of with the rules, but because this is an existing property they do even less with rules or game play, which is disappointing because it touts an updated rule set and I can click into the rules, but it should be telling me what the differences and improvements are, because when I saw the original being played, it just didn’t interest me that much.

Back or Brick

Now for me this is a brick, as I talked about, I don’t know what the differences in the rules are, and that’s something that should be really clearly laid out. Especially with there being so many campaign games and dungeon crawl games out there, what is making this one stand out. That said, I’m still tempted by it. And with that, it is on Tabletop Simulator, so while I don’t think that would change my mindset on the game, nor change the money I have to get the game, if you are the fence, I’d highly recommend checking it. Or even if you wanted to like the first, maybe you can find the changes and see if they work better for you.

So how about for you, is this game a back or a brick for you?
