Now, this isn’t a pure reboot, this is continuing the story, but with so much time passing, and thankfully very few of them in the book, recasting is likely to happen. We are going to be getting The Silver Chair.

Producer Mark Gordon has announced the series will be revived with the fourth book in the series, The Silver Chair. They’ve been working on a draft of the script for about a year, and it sounds like they finally have it figured out. Though the project is being billed as a reboot, that’s a bit misleading, since many of the characters in The Silver Chair are new, anyway, and the carryovers can be recast. If you’re wanting to reboot, this is a good a place as any to do it.
